Our Story

We're a hardworking farm family from Northeast Ohio who believes in making the most of our down time. When we get a break, we head to GOTL to relax, recharge and enjoy time together with our family. Governor Cottages was created to share that simple getaway experience with others-comfortable, convenient, and close to everything that makes GOTL special.

Location

Governor Cottages are located right in the heart of Geneva-On-the-Lake, Ohio just a short walk from "the strip". The three cottages (GREEN, PEACH, & BLUE) were built in 2019 and are perfect for a family trip or an adult getaway. The front porch swing is a perfect place to relax and enjoy the live music from the strip. The cottages are within walking distance of the GOTL Golf course, Madsen Donuts, Eddies Grill, Sporsterz Bar & Grill and many other shops, arcades, restaurants, and bars on the strip. The cottages are less than a 10-minute drive to Breakwater Beach and Geneva Marina. The property is located 17 minutes (7.7 miles) from SPIRE.

About The Cottages

Up to six guests can stay per cottage.

Each cottage features two bedrooms with queen size beds and a sofa bed in the living room. The spacious living room is a comfortable place to relax. There is one full bathroom with a walk-in shower. Outside on the porch is a gas grill, picnic table and porch swing. The firepit is the perfect place to unwind in the evening.
